Music Show Background Animations

Vcross invited the team to create the LED stage visuals for a VTuber concert at the Firefly anime convention, covering the stage backdrop videos, on-stage LED visuals and the overall look development of the stage. A single main stage ran through the whole concert, with lighting, layout and on-stage LED content shifting to create a different mood for each song.

Production ProcessStage Structure Breakdown

Based on on-site photos from the organiser, the main screen, overhead transparent screen, two side transparent screens and the bottom screen became the team's main design canvases. All visuals were built around this main stage system, covering backdrops for 21 songs. Six required compositing VTuber characters supplied externally, while more than ten others reused the team's stage assets and were extended by other teams.

Creative Concept and Visual Direction

The initial idea built every element around the core concept of a summer night lit by magic. Starting from a midsummer night, magical props, glassy light and starry energy create a fantasy world that keeps awakening and transforming with the music.

Visual Production

The whole concert used one main stage, but the team built a flexible visual system that kept the stage cohesive while allowing enough variety, and ensured consistency between the team's own content and adaptations by other teams.
