FabriX Virtual Fashion | AR Fashion Made with Blender and Clo3D
Product Modeling
Late Studio took part in the FabriX virtual fashion project as one of its animators, completing five pieces of virtual fashion. Thanks to Chu Fung for the invitation!
The team learned a great deal from this collaboration. PMQ secured sponsorship from CLO, which provided software licenses and arranged official Q&A sessions, helping the team quickly master Clo3D, a professional cloth simulation tool. The team also learned a lot from Mike: a single garment turned out to be remarkably complex, with many small components and stitching methods—much like assembling a Gundam model.
Alongside Clo3D, the team also used Blender, its everyday 3D software: the base garment models and materials were built in Clo3D, then exported to Blender for detailed adjustments.
