Shen Ling Bai Zhu San 6s TVC | PuraPharm

Based on the existing packaging of PuraPharm's Shen Ling Bai Zhu San, our team created a namesake mascot that breathes life into the product. The client wanted to borrow the familiar "Mr. Weather" forecast format beloved by Hongkongers, using a 3D mascot and CG product animation to showcase the outstanding dampness-dispelling effect of this classic Chinese herbal formula.

Animation Concept

Hong Kong's climate is humid, and rainy days make dampness build up in the body even more. The brand therefore planned to use the visual shift from thunderstorm to clear skies to highlight the formula's effect, and provided an AI animation as reference.

This clip was inspired by "Mr. Weather" from TVB's weather report. Whenever rain turns to sunshine, the dark clouds disperse as he arrives and warm sunlight pours over the land. The footsteps and sighs from that clip were also added to the PuraPharm animation.

Mascot Modeling

Based on the client's AI clip and the physical Shen Ling Bai Zhu San product, the team refined the mascot's look and added material details to make the character more memorable.
